The Pasta Party is Saturday, April 27, the evening prior to the Marathon and other Sunday races, in the Grand Ballroom of the Monterey Marriott (2nd floor), across the street from the race Expo and Packet Pick-up.

There are two sittings, one at 5:00 PM and one at 6:00 PM. Tickets can be purchased for $25 per person either during the registration process, by logging into My Events at, at packet pick-up at the Expo, or at the door.


We will feature a delicious menu of items to fuel you for your race the next morning including:

  • Tossed salad, fruit salad, or Kashi salad
  • Chicken
  • Pasta, with marinara or meat sauce
  • Artichokes and asparagus
  • Bread
  • Fresh fruit
  • Juice, water or beer
  • Dessert

You will also enjoy live entertainment, there are random prize drawings, a Q & A session with the race director and more.


Visit the Run Tech Lounge at the front of the Expo if you need to sit for a spell and charge your device. Some of our Run Tech partners will be on hand to chat and each day from 2 – 5 PM we’ll offer happy hour pricing on Sufferfest beer, District 7 Monterey Wines, and Boochcraft high ABC Kombucha.
