The 2020 Health & Fitness Expo is located in the Monterey Conference Center adjacent to the Portola Plaza in Monterey and across the street from the Monterey Marriott. Dates are Friday, April 24th from 12 noon to 6 PM and Saturday, April 25th from 9:30 AM to 6 PM.

At the Expo, participants in the Marathon, Marathon Relay, 21 and 11-Milers, the 12K, 5K and 3K will pick up their race bib with attached timing chip, gear check bag, official Race Program and event shirt.  Be sure to bring photo ID (required for bib pick-up). Bus tickets (if required) will also be distributed at the Expo in the bib pick-up room.

Bib numbers are assigned the second week in April. Each participant will be emailed their bib number and QR check-in code on the Monday and Thursday prior to race weekend. Bibs numbers will also be emailed by SVE Timing. Once assigned, you can also look up bibs at My Events at or on the mobile app (found for iOS and Android as “Big Sur Marathon”). There will also be bib lookup computers at the Expo.

You must pick up your bib and packet in person; no one else can pick up for you unless a Packet Pick-Up Authorization Form has been filled out.

There will be vendors, businesses and other race representatives at the Expo offering a variety of fitness apparel and equipment as well as providing health and fitness related demonstrations.

  • A series of FREE race clinics will take place on Saturday, April 25th at the Monterey Conference Center.
  • Pasta Party tickets will be on sale for $30. There are two sittings on Saturday, April 25th; one at 4:30 PM and one at 5:30 PM. The Pasta Party is held in the Grand Ballroom of the Monterey Marriott.
