RACE BENEFACTORS (formerly known as the Youth Fitness charity entry) – SOLD OUT!

When you participate in this program, your entry fee helps fund the work of the nonprofit Big Sur Marathon Foundation. Our mission is to enrich and empower our community through charitable giving and to inspire a passion for healthy lifestyles by creating memorable running experiences.

Since 1986, we’ve given back more than $6.7 million to the local community through our annual volunteer group donations, supporting schools, nonprofits, public safety, and environmental organizations throughout Monterey County and special projects like the Palo Corona cross country course.

REGISTRATION & ENTRY FEES

Registration for the April 26, 2026 Big Sur Marathon in the Race Benefactor division is open as of August 13, 2025. This entry division is first-come, first-served with a limited number of entries available.

2026 Race Benefactor Entry Fee: $600

RACE BENEFACTORS RECEIVE

  • Guaranteed entry into the 26.2-mile Big Sur Marathon.
  • Tech fabric participant shirt and a ceramic hand-painted finisher’s medallion.
  • The chance to make a meaningful, tax-deductible gift that supports the Big Sur Marathon Foundation programs, including youth running and community fitness opportunities in Monterey County. You will receive an acknowledgment letter from us for your tax records. Please consult your tax advisor for more details.
