How the Random Drawing Works

When you apply for the General Registration Drawing, you will complete a full registration form and enter your payment information. If selected on September 4th, your application will be approved and your credit card will automatically be charged the registration fee and any additional add-ons you selected during registration. At that time, you will receive an email confirming your approval and no further action will be required to secure your entry. If you are not selected, you will also be notified via email.

Monterey County Residents

Monterey County Residents will receive special instructions on August 13th to enter the drawing. Monterey County Residents wishing to register for another race distance (Relay, 21-Miler, 11-Miler, 12K, & 5K) should register on September 9th when they open to the general public on a first-come, first-served basis.

Deferrals

Those who deferred their registration from last year’s marathon can expect to receive email instructions on August 13th on how to claim their deferral. Please reach out to registration@bsim.org with any questions.
