PASTA PARTY

The Pasta Party is Saturday, April 28, the evening prior to the Marathon and other Sunday races, in the Grand Ballroom of the Monterey Marriott (2nd floor), across the street from the race Expo and Packet Pick-up.

There are two sittings, one at 4:30 PM and one at 5:30 PM. Tickets can be purchased for $25 per person either during the registration process, by logging into My Events at Active.com, at packet pick-up at the Expo, or at the door.

 

We will feature a delicious menu of items to fuel you for your race the next morning including:

  • Tossed salad, fruit salad, or Kashi salad
  • Chicken
  • Pasta, with marinara or meat sauce
  • Artichokes and asparagus
  • Bread
  • Fresh fruit
  • Juice, water or beer
  • Pineapple upside-down cake

You will also enjoy live entertainment, there are random prize drawings, a Q & A session with the race director and more.

 

POST-RACE PARTY

Celebrate your performance and meet new friends at the post-race party, race day evening from 4:30 to 7:30 PM in the Grand Ballroom of the Monterey Marriott.

Tickets can be purchased for $25 per person in conjunction with registration, by logging into My Events at Active.com, at the Expo, or at the door.

The post-race party features light refreshments, one free drink, a slide show showcasing race weekend photos, and entertainment. There is also a no-host bar serving beer and wine.

The Big Sur event committee and staff will be on hand to greet runners and walkers along with the many editors from Runner’s World and special guests.
